Welcome
to this collection of pages related to my interest in the history
of aviation in two parts of the UK - the area I grew up in and the area
where I now live. The subject itself is extensive, with vague boundaries, and the intention is not to repackage information from existing published sources but to encourage you to look for, and record, unique information that is specific to your part of the country. My own focus is on Bedfordshire and North-East Scotland and the following mixed collection of articles that form this site come out of a much larger archive of information compiled over a number of years.
