The grave of Flying Officer Terence Newton in Carlton (St Mary) Churchyard

Looking north, north west from the graveside his aircraft crashed in the middle distance behind Harrold.

The electricity line which runs close by took down Battle K9328 eleven months earlier half a mile to the south, and later Mosquito DZ459 a mile to the north west at the point where they cross the River Ouse.
